The girls and I had fun at the dance recital Friday night. I stepped outside Saturday morning at around 8:15 and it was already hot. I did get the yard mowed, but Rudy decided to go fishing
so Kalli and I went to see “Monster-In-Law” which we enjoyed and then to Applebees for chicken salads and ice tea and blew it with their delicious triple chocolate meltdown! Sunday we had a luncheon for the graduating seniors after church and then that afternoon had Baccalaureate service. Afterward, a group of us went to eat at El Toro for delicious Tex Mex. It seems all I have done this weekend is eat and eat very well I will add, LOL! Today was Kalli’s orthodondist appointment and she will be getting braces on June 21st. At least she has the summer to get use to them. I am so excited about AI tomorrow night!!

I am so behind on everything it seems including my reading groups and Bible Study! Hopefully, things will slow down a bit week after next when we get graduation behind us. All of my favorite shows had season finales this week with the exception of AI. This will also help to get caught up on things. I missed the finale of Gilmore Girls, but my good friend Trista caught me up on it. Thanks Trista! I was not at all surprised that Kendra won on The Apprentice. Tana was just a bit too cocky for me.
Today I have been working in my flowerbeds trimming, weeding, and planting a few caladiums that I purchased yesterday. Tonight, I am taking Kalli and her friend Katy to a dance recital that one of Kalli’s best friends is dancing in. Tomorrow, I will mow and weed-eat the yard then help Rudy on the bedroom remodeling. Sunday, we have Senior Recognition with a luncheon at church then that afternoon we have Baccalaureate for the graduating seniors. I most likely won’t be on the computer much this weekend so everyone have a good one!
