Still no rain! We haven’t had rain since Memorial Day weekend and we’re under a burning ban. So far they say it is not going to affect the 4th of July celebration with fireworks. My month leave starts Friday! Woohoo! Rudy had me working this morning at 6:15 before I even had my coffee. He needed some specs typed out for some people he was to meet with this morning and wasn’t going to be able to drop back by the house before meeting with them. I was like a grizzly bear without my coffee. The rest of the day was nice and quiet. Kalli left this morning to go with a friend to Tyler. They were going to Fire Mountain to ride go-carts and play putt-putt golf, then to eat, then to a movie, and then shopping. I just talked with her and they are on their way home. Matt was at work, as was Rudy so I had the house to myself today. After finishing work today I spent a good bit of time studying for my final exam.

93 degrees today! We are having to water the yard every other day with no rain insight! I am just praying that we are not put on a water restriction. I have been such a bad blogger this week because I just haven’t had anything to blog about really. Kalli got her braces on Tuesday and has had only a little soreness. She got hot pink and really looks cute with them! I should get a pic, but she is gone for the weekend with a friend and her family. I am so looking forward to July and being off!! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! ~hugs & blessings~

Rudy put the sprinklers out last night to water our yard. It was already looking burned up and this is only the middle of June! Of course this brought on rain!! You know the saying - “wash your car and it will rain” well ours is, “water your yard and it will rain”. Yesterday morning I stepped outside to check on the kittens and it felt so good out with a nice breeze that I decided to carry my coffee out to the front porch.
