High 64, Low 42 Sorry for going so long without a post. I have been really busy with school, family, church, Christmas shopping and decorating! Our Thanksgiving was wonderful with the exception my Dallas Cowboys lost in overtime! The Friday & Saturday after Thanksgiving I shopped like a mad woman fighting the crowds and traffic. I know I said I wasn’t going, but Kalli talked me into it and I’m glad she did. She is such a big help and we had so much fun, but by Sunday night I was pooped! Last year we only hung lights on our deck, but this year we are going all out with lights on the house and Rudy’s shop! We got most of them up Sunday, but need to finish up and then I will take a pic. Kalli has had her heart set on a minature Yorkie and I finally found a lady who raises them. She said they start at $800.00!! Whoa, that is a lot of money isn’t it, but I did pay $500.00 for one 18 years ago, so I guess that price isn’t that bad afterall. We will be shopping around though and hoping to find a bargain! I plan on making a trip to Canton this weekend as this is the weekend they hold their trades days and there are usually lots of people with pets for sale. I am also keeping an eye on the paper. I hope I will be able to find one by February for her birthday. A lady from the church called today to see if I would help out on the Safety Committee this coming year. I haven’t helped out on a committee for sometime now so I felt I needed to say yes. I don’t think it will be a real busy committee or at least I hope not! I will be by to make visits after dinner! ~Hugs & Blessings~

High 65, Low 42 Today is the kids last day of school and they are out the rest of the week for Thanksgiving. I couldn’t wait any longer to change my graphics. Rudy and the kids put up our Christmas tree on Sunday while I was cooking dinner. What a treat that was! I spent most of yesterday decorating the top and putting on more ornaments. Kalli and I will be cooking tomorrow and I hope to get in some shopping sometime, but might hold off until next week as I know the stores will be overly crowded this week. We close on the rental house today so I guess that will be our next project to get it ready to rent. I have a very busy week ahead so Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I will try to make visits later on today. ~Hugs & Blessings~

High 58, Low 32 Look at my temps! Cold mornings sure get you hopping! I had to get all of my plants in yesterday because I knew it was suppose to freeze. I haven’t done much this week besides studying, which is what I am doing this morning too. I am going to town later today and get groceries for the things I will be making for Thanksgiving and Matthew will be here tonight for dinner so I will pick something up to make for that. For Thanksgiving we are going to my brother’s for lunch and then to my mother-in-laws for dinner. I will be feeling and looking like a stuffed turkey. My dad is going to go with us to my brother’s for lunch, which will be a first in a long time. Long story, but my dad and my brother’s wife had a huge fallen out 3 years ago and he wants nothing to do with her, but is going for mine and my brother’s sake. I can’t say I blame him after what she did to him. Maybe one day I will write about here. I got a darling set from Cute Prints for You with a Christmas and winter scene, but trying to hold off putting it up until next week. Check out the book I’m reading “A Redbird Christmas”…a must read! Have a wonderful Thursday my friends! ~hugs & blessings~

High 82, Low 69It certainly doesn’t feel like the holidays are approaching with this heat and humidity! Friday night we all went to the movies. Rudy and I saw “Derailed” with Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen. Great movie! The kids saw “Dreamer” and said it was really good. Saturday, Kalli and I went to the annual “Mistletoe & Magic” in Tyler. Vendors from all over come to setup boothes to sale their stuff. We both got a pair of earrings from a lady in New Mexico and I bought a pretty floral arrangement from a lady in Arkansas. We had a great time shopping and spending time together and got a little bit of Christmas shopping done. We spent a great deal of time in Barnes & Noble sipping passion tea and browsing books. I love that store and could spend hours in there. At church yesterday we had two families join! I do have to say that since getting our new preacher our little community church has grown a great deal. I had planned on raking leaves after church, but it was just too hot and humid! Do you ever feel like you are going in circles? That is how my Sunday was. The harder I tried to get things done around here, the more sidetracked I got. Desperate Housewives was a hoot tonight, especially with Gabrielle trying to fit into her size 00 dress. Have a great day! ~Hugs & Blessings~

High 72, Low 48 Love the cooler temps, but it is suppose to warm back up tomorrow. Yesterday, I went to the library as planned and found only 1 book that was on my list. Kalli and I will be going to the annual “Mistletoe & Magic” in Tyler so I will stop by Barnes & Noble while we are there. Rudy called as I was leaving the library and wanted to go to lunch. We went to Judi’s Java Joint and had soup and sandwiches. They make the best chicken salad. I’m not sure if I have ever mentioned that I sell Mary Kay Cosmetics. I have had so many of my customers interested in buying from me online so I have purchased a website through Mary Kay. You can do a virtual makeover, which is really neat! You do however, have to register a user name and password on my site, but it is free. Feel free to go and browse all you want. You can also fill out a profile sheet and it will recommend the products you should use for your skin type. Here is the link if you would like to visit Tracey’s Mary Kay Website and remember there is no obligation to make a purchase. However, if you do wish to purchase shipping is free! ~Hugs & Blessings~
