Update On Work

Published by Tracey under Books, General, Work

Sunny!Good Morning!
Tuesday's postHigh 75, Low 58 The office called yesterday morning for me to pick up work!! Kalli and I went to Tyler yesterday but didn’t have much luck finding shoes for her dress or jewelry for that matter. We found some, but it was just too expensive to have for just one night. I did find my book “A Woman After God’s Own Heart” by Elizabeth George. I just finished my work and I’m about to hit the shower. Kalli has an orthodontist appointment this afternoon so we are going to swing by Wal-Mart on the way and pick up a few groceries. null

Beautiful Day

Lotsa Sun!I'm a busybee today!
Sunday's PostHigh 62, Low 38 I want to thank everyone for your encouraging words about my last post regarding work. It is always nice to hear what others think and it helps to quiet that little voice in the back of your mind asking if you really did the best you could, or was there something else you could have done.

Communication Problem

Published by Tracey under Friends, General, Work

I hope to see a little sun today!
I'm on my 3rd cup!High 62, Low 45, Mostly Cloudy! Good Thursday morning everyone! It has been a very busy week for me. Monday night I enjoyed a night out with my sorority sisters. We met at the home of one of the sisters and dined on delicious finger foods and started prepartions for Founder’s Day that will be held in April. Tuesday morning, the doctor that I transcribe for called me at 8:30 wanting to know if I could type a few letters for him and have back to him later on that day. I said of course and went to pick up the tape, came home and started typing away. I soon found out that a few letters turned out to be 5 very long letters. I wasn’t worried because he said to have back to him later on so I’m thinking I have until closing time which is 5 pm. Wrong!! The office called me at 3:00 pm wanting to know where the letters were. I kindly told them the letters were ready, which they were, and I would drop off around 3:30 after picking my daughter up from school. The receptionist then informed me he had a meeting at the hospital at 4:00 pm and needed the letters ASAP! So I told her that he did not tell me that, he just said to have them back later on in the day but didn’t give a specific time and I couldn’t bring them right then because I had to pick up my daughter from school. She didn’t seem real pleased with that, but they should have let me know and I was not going to just leave my child sitting up at the school by herself wondering where her mother was. Well, I didn’t make it by 3:30 as I said I would…it was raining and the after school traffic was terrible so I got there at 3:40. I apologized for the communication problem and explained my side and I guess we will see if they call me to pick up work anymore which will be next Monday. We left there and went to Kalli’s dentist appointment, stopped off at Subway to pick up a sandwich, and got home in time for my online class that evening. There were technical difficulties so the meeting was delayed a bit making me miss Gilmore Girls! If anyone watches this I need an update.

Geering Up For The Cold

Cloudy!High 78, Low 68 It is suppose to start raining tonight and a cold front come through…a repeat of last weekend it seems, but we have a slight chance of sleet on Sunday. I went grocery shopping today and hope to get lots of cooking in this weekend. Nothing better to do than cook and watch movies on cold rainy weekends! It was so warm today that I have spent most of the day outside cleaning up and blowing things off. It’s hard to stay in the house when it is 78 out! We ended up ordering dinner in on Valentine’s Day so Rudy could finish up the jeep. Matt helped as long as he could, but he had a date so he skipped out early. I need to go finish up my dinner…lasagne, garden salad with homemade dressing, and garlice bread. Rudy will be leaving in a bit to go play cards with his buddies so I have the television to myself tonight!
