High 79, Low 62 We didn’t get any rain today for the first time all week. Yesterday, right after a rain shower, Rudy called me to the kitchen window and there were 8 or 9 birds taking a bath in the area where our swimming pool use to be. When there is lots of rain it holds water. I got a shot of just a couple of them…the others heard me and flew away.

High 68, Low 58 Thank you everyone for your sweet comments about Kalli. You only see her outside beauty but I wanted to add that her beauty goes skin deep. I never said what a great time they had at the prom. I posted her pics and then realized it was my MILs birthday so Rudy and I had to rush to town to get a gift and go by to visit her for a while. That is where Matt lives so he met us at the school to watch her play. She played two sets of doubles and lost the first set, but they won the second one. Last night was the last night of Bible study, which I missed because of the tennis match, but I believe she is planning on having another one later on.

High 60, Low 32 We set a record on low temps here in Texas for March. In 1912 the temp dropped to 35 and last night it dropped to 32! Yesterday, it was cloudy and cold with a high at noon only of 37. I just could not get warm yesterday. I ended up putting my thermal underwear on that I had bought when we went skiing back in December. Rudy built a fire when he got home and I sat in front of it all evening. It felt so good. Our Mexican food on Wednesday was delicious, really hit the spot, and I ate way too much! We made it home just in time to see Kevin voted off AI. I was surprised he lasted this long.

High 58, Low 38 Monday night I had Sorority and we finalized our plans for Founder’s Day that will be held in April. We dined on crab salad, baked potatoes, a green salad, and fresh fruit. Last night was our weekly Bible Study. We discussed being diligent in our walk with Jesus and spending time with Him. We also talked about being content with the things we have and to see the beauty in them instead of wanting more and more. This is definitely something I struggle with.
