Work Day
We are having a rainy day so I don’t mind working at all. I did get my hair trimmed this morning and found out my hairdresser is moving to Dallas! I have used her for 15 years now. Dallas is only 2 hours away, but I don’t know that I will travel the distance for my hair! This will on the other hand give me a chance to try other stylist that I had been wanting to but wouldn’t because I was afraid my lady would find out! Not much else going on here. I am fighting sleep and want to take a nap but I know if I do I probably will not sleep well tonight.
All day today I have thought it was Monday. I cleaned house this morning since I haven’t touched it since getting my new toy, lol! It was a mess. After cleaning, Kalli and I ran a few errands and then stopped by Brookshires to get a few groceries. Well, I thought a few, but she filled the buggy up stating she was out of school now afterall, and was eating three meals a day at home. Like I would let her starve. She cracks me up being so dramatic at times. She keeps me young. I had to pick up tapes today from work so I have lots of work for tomorrow and possibly Thursday. I should have a good check coming this month but I won’t bill them until this weeks work is done. I have a hair appointment in the morning and thinking about cancelling it. I am trying to let my hair grow out a bit but it does need the ends trimmed so I will probably keep it. I’m off here to go grill some brats. Have a wonderful evening everyone! I am so behind on posting and visiting everyone. I feel so out of the loop but will be back on track soon. The new computer is up and running. I have my DSL going with a router so everyone in the house can be online at the same time! I am still transferring things over from the old computer but I am ready for work on Tuesday. I picked up work on Thursday afternoon and yesterday (Sunday) realized that I hadn’t even started on it and it was due today. After church that is how I spent the rest of my day working. I delivered this morning and picked up more work that is due on Wednesday! The money is good when it’s this busy but it takes away from my playing on the computer time! Saturday night we didn’t get to have our date night. We decided to take Kalli to Lufkin to watch the Elks in the playoffs. We should have just stuck to our original plans because they played terrible and lost 8-2. I have lots of visits to make and will do so here shortly. Hugs & blessings to all!
