Busy Week
Wow, what a week it has been with VBS, hair appointments, shopping for cruise, bill paying, etc. Yesterday, I took Kalli to her hair appointment which took 3 hours to get highlights! That took a good chunk out of my day but while there two people I haven’t seen in a very long time came in so we chatted which made the time go by faster. I would have left to run errands but Kalli likes for me to stay with her. I didn’t make it to VBS last night, we didn’t get home until 6:30 and it started at 5:30. I was only scheduled to work Monday and Tuesday anyways and did work Wednesday too so I’m sure it is ok I didn’t show up.
The last two mornings we have awaken to temps in the 60’s. I have taken advantage of it and have enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck along with breakfast. I try to spend as much time as possible outside in the mornings. Today I have a hair appointment and Kalli’s is tomorrow. Either Friday or Saturday we are taking Rudy shopping for the cruise. Only 1 week from tomorrow and we set sail. Can you tell that I am excited! 
This evening VBS begins for our church from 5:30 to 8. I volunteered to help out tonight and tomorrow night and maybe Friday night if needed. I always enjoy working with the youngsters and love the neat songs we learn during VBS. 
I tried working on my tan on Tuesday but it was just too hot. It is much easier to tan while on a float in water. I sure am missing my pool! At the end of last summer we decided to get rid of ours because of all the problems we had with it plus the cost of keeping it up and going was outrageous. I could use a tanning bed but I prefer natural tans myself. I might have to get a bottle tan and then work on my tan while on the cruise. Kalli’s photo ID came in the mail yesterday so we now have all of our documents to legally leave the country!
