Happy Birthday to my older brother Michael! He is 44. We are suppose to be partyly cloudy today but no rain in sight. I hope the weatherman is wrong about the rain. Paying bills today, running errands, going to the bank and just cleaning up around here. A rather boring day.

Good Saturday to you all! We had a great time at the birthday party and after everyone left except family we visited for a while getting home at 10:30. Last night we went out to eat with Rudy’s sister, her husband and kids and enjoyed visiting with them. Rudy left this morning to go to the deer lease to walk the land and find the ideal spot for hunting and set up his stand. He will be back tomorrow so today it’s just me and Kalli. We haven’t decided how we want to spend our day just yet. Tomorrow afternoon we are going to my brothers to a cookout and will pick my dad up on the way. Getting lots of family visits in this weekend! Have a blessed day!

We only got just a little bit of rain yesterday and last night but expecting more today. The temps are much cooler in the high 80’s so I’m not complaining. Matt is really liking his new job so far and I hope this works out for him. He is trying to save money to get a new truck. Some have asked if he is going back to college and right now he is not planning on going back this coming fall semester. He is in that undecided stage of his life, not sure what he wants to do or be yet. He has his certification in welding so that is what he is trying out at Bandanna Installation to see if that is something he will like doing. Tonight we have a birthday party to attend for my niece who is turning 3!

We had a wonderful time in Shreveport…shopping, eating, enjoying each others company. I didn’t find a thing to buy for myself but we did find a few tops for Kalli to start back to school and got a really good deal at the Nike outlet on 2 tennis outfits and at the mall we found pullon sweatshirts for $5.00 each. We got back last night around 7 and I spent most of the time before going to bed talking with Matt about his new job. He was suppose to go with us but found out he got the job at Banner Installation right before we were leaving and they wanted him to start on Tuesday. The place is only about 6 miles from home and he is starting out at $3.00 more an hour than he was making.

Yesterday around 5 PM we were only at 87 and there was nice cool breeze. Rudy and I sat out on the deck for a few hours enjoying the nice change in weather. Wednesday it is only suppose to get to 88 and we have good chances of rain for the next 3 days. The doctor office that I work for is closed this week for vacation so around noon today we are going to Shreveport to do a little shopping at the Boardwalk and the mall and will be back sometime tomorrow. Rudy has concrete being poured Wednesday morning so he has to be back for that.
