I gave Chloe her bath yesterday and was soaked afterwards. She hates a bath and I thought labs loved water! I picked up work and worked most of the day then spent some time on Rudy’s books and filing, then it was time to watch my recorded shows, 7th Heaven, Desperate Housewives and Brother’s and Sister’s. I recorded them and watched the Cowboys play and they won.

I hope everyone remembered to set your clocks back! Chloe has been spending lots of time outside since the weather has been in the 70’s and lots of sunshine. She loves being outside as long as Shadow stays around with her. The first few days she was here he wouldn’t have anything to do with her and whenever she tried to play with him or even just get near him he would take off. He is staying around now and will even play with her some, and now I can’t hardly get her in the house. I was going to give her a bath today, but I think I will do it in the morning before I get dressed for the day. At her last bath I was wetter than she was when bathtime was over. I am so happy I haven’t gotten my new carpet. Chloe had done so well with potty training but when we got all that rain she went on my carpet a few times in the living room where we were looking to put new carpet in. I would have been really upset if I had just gotten the new carpet in and she went on it.

It rained nonstop yesterday but has quit for now and only 20% chance today. This rain is messing with our potty training Chloe! She has done really good though with only a few accidents in the house. I can finally walk out of a room without her crying. She is so sweet and loves to cuddle. Matt informed me that there is nothing to eat here so I have to get to the grocery store today and finish cleaning house.
Jerry was so relieved to finally be going home!

Chloe is our newest family member. She is an adorable 7 week old, 8 lb - 5 oz, yellow lab. Matt called me yesterday just after he had left here to go back to work and said his boss had a yellow lab that someone had dumped off on his road over the weekend. She was full of fleas so after Kalli’s orthodondits appointment today we took to the vet. They said she was a full blooded lab, 7 weeks old, and needed to be wormed. She also has a heart murmur. They graded the heart murmur at a 2 with 6 being the worse. The vet did say she could grow out of it. Other than that she is very healthy.

The Vet thought she needed a Halloween bandana. Can you believe someone dumped this precious baby off on the road!

Kalli’s Bible study group is having a bake sale tomorrow after church to raise money for Christmas gifts for area children who will be put on the Angel Tree. They are baking today and the moms will do a little baking too to help them out. Then tonight I have to work at the Fall Fest from 5 to 8 for Sorority. Tomorrow is church then the bake sale. I doubt I will get in many visits until Monday. Have a blessed weekend!
