Well, it sure feels like it with the temp being 77. I am enjoying every minute of it as we are suppose to be in the low 60’s on Friday, but 60’s are good too! Peaches is loving it too! I have kept my doors open today and she can come and go as she pleases. She is so funny. She loves to go outside as long as the door is open so she can come back in when whe wants. I have been catching up on some reading today and reading the first and second chapters of Luke. Our church starts a new Bible study tomorrow evening over these chapters. I haven’t quite decided if I will go or not but if I do I’m prepared, and it’s not like it’s wasted reading. Work has been so slow lately, but of course, as soon as I plan something work will come in. Well, I don’t have much to say so I will end now. I hope everyone has had a blessed day.

This is the first time I have actually watched til the end! I think this is the best one in a long time as far as the presentation goes. I applaud Ellen for such a wonderful job. As far as who won it really didn’t matter to me as I had not seen any of these movies except Little Miss Sunshine. Jennifer Hudson won best supporting actress for her role in Dreamgirls, Helen Mirren won best actress for her role in The Queen, Forest Whitaker won best actor for his role in The Last King of Scotland, Alan Arkin won best supporting actor for his role in Little Miss Sunshine, and best documentary went to Al Gore for An Inconvenient Truth. In my opinion the best and most elegantly dressed were Maggie Gyllenhaal, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwyneth Paltrow, in that order. The worst dressed by far was Diane Keeton. I really enjoyed the interviews beforehand by Barbara Walters.

I have not slowed down since my last post! Rudy and I went to Tyler on Friday and first stopped off at The Men’s Warehouse to get him a new suit. It was a little pricey but well worth it because we practically just walked in the door and they did the rest. We picked out the suit which was a black pinstripe and then a lady came in to measure the length of his trousers while 2 others were getting shirts and ties together, and another lady getting socks, shoes, and a belt. We were out of there in less than 10 minutes and they even hemmed his pants and while we walked quickly through the mall. We left there to go test drive a Tiburon at the Ford place and made an offer that they didn’t accept, but I was relieved after the salesman said the car listed for a lot more than it actually does. I found the window sticker in the glove box so we knew he was telling a lie, plus we had done our research online before even going in so we knew what these cars listed at. Don’t they know you can find anything out on the internet and it irritates me when they lie to make a sale. Before heading home we ate at Olive Garden and when we returned home we started our search for cars again online. We found an Eclipse in Irving that was around our price range so Saturday morning Rudy called and made an offer which they accepted so quess where we were headed next? You can click on my flickr photos and then click on Tracey’s Photo’s Photostrem to view Kalli’s new car (well, new to her).
