~ Buttercup Hill ~

It’s a wonderful feeling to have my kitchen spic and span. After work Kalli and I went to Wal-Mart. She got stuff to do a scrapbook for her boyfriend for graduation. Graduation is this Friday! She didn’t put it off til the last minute did she? I picked up a few binders, folders, and tab dividers for my school work. I came home and had a fun time organizing my binder. I love to organize stuff and move things around redecorating. I’m a little weird about it, doing it all the time. Oh and just as we got out of Wal-Mart it came a downpour and of course we did not have an umbrella. I had parked close to the door so we only got a little wet. Did you catch Traveler last night? Rudy and I both love this show. I didn’t watch So You Think You Can Dance, because I don’t like sitting through the tryouts. I will watch after they have picked the contestants and they start competing. Until later :lovestruck:

It took the entire time for Kalli on her MAP testing, the 3 1/2 hours. She said it was really hard. We should get her scores in a week. It’s just a test to see how far she has come this year. I was just about to walk out the door to go to sorority when the weather changed and it got really dark out and with high winds. I was afraid we were going to have a tornado but then it lightened up and the rain came. I did get to go to sorority but I got there a little late. I’m still skiddish about driving in the rain and on wet roads, every since I hydroplaned a few years ago so it took me forever to get there. Today is work and I need to get my kitchen floors mopped. When I had every over for dinner on Monday and with all the rain we have had my floors are a mess. Have a wonderful Wednesday :beesmiley2:

Boy did we get a downpour yesterday and the weatherman is calling for rain all week. We are already so soggy and parts of Texas (not us) are flooding. I know this July and August we will be complaining for it being so dry.

I felt much better yesterday and got a lot accomplished. The house cleaned, laundry done, bird feeders cleaned out and refilled, and hummingbird food made and filled those feeders too. I also got a little bit of bookkeeping done that I had gotten behind on. It was a nice day and we actually saw the sun despite the weatherman saying only rain.

We came home from the birthday party Friday night and I watched Because I Said So. It was okay, but not great. Rudy fell asleep about 5 minutes after it started which was just as well because it was definitely a chick flick. I didn’t feel well yesterday. I had a headache all day long and felt out of sorts so I didn’t do much just hung around the house and watched the Travel Channel most of the day. This morning I am still not feeling great but I’m hoping after a nice long hot shower I will feel better. I decided to stay home from church because if I start feeling better I need to clean up around here. We have had lots of rain this weekend with more on the way so it’s a good weekend to stay in.
