Rain And Shine

We are still getting rain showers with a little sunshine too. Yesterday I mainly worked on Rudy’s books and did his bill paying and invoicing. Last night he and I went to see Live Free or Die Hard with Bruce Willis so he got his fix for the action packed movies he loves. It was actually really good with some comedy mixed in. After the movie we stopped at Brookshires to pick up a few groceries. Not much going on today just cleaning up around here and doing :ldry:

TGIF!

At the church meeting tonight I was asked to teach a kindergarten class for VBS that is coming up July 9th through the 13th. Kalli has offered to help me keep them rounded up. I will only have them for about 20 minutes each night and then they will go to their next station which I think is crafts. So surely, Kalli and I can handle them for 20 minutes :teddysmiley2: I will be asking for lots of prayer  during VBS week!

Keeping Watch

Published by Tracey under Everyday, Family, Meme

I have been keeping a close watch and still have not seen or heard the tresspassers. Maybe the signs are working. I thought I would have leftovers tonight from my roast but just about the time everything was done and we were ready to sit down to dinner everyone showed up. Matt and Julie, Kalli and Dustin along with a friend of Kalli’s. They all enjoyed the dinner, lol and I enjoyed their company. Tonight I have another meeting at church. This is a council meeting and we will decide which company to go with for the repair of the foundation. These meetings are always so long so I’m not really looking forward to it but it is an important one that I need to attend.

Trespasser Update

Published by Tracey under Church, Everyday, Family, Friends

With all of the chaos from the trespassers I forgot to report on Kalli’s orthodontist visit on Monday. He is saying she should have her braces off before school starts on August 27th. She is so excited! She has had them on 2 years now. I didn’t see or hear the kids riding on our land yesterday but we had thunderstorms all day. Rudy picked up some more signs to hang along our land. Toni said she was told that if you have signs up you can’t be sued. We do have liability insurance on our land just in case though. I checked with our insurance lady yesterday just to be sure we would be covered. I can rest better now.

Keep Out

Published by Tracey under Everyday, Work

We are having a problem with the neighborhood kids riding their 4-wheelers on our land and it’s gotten worse since school has been out. Rudy has posted several “Keep Out” signs where we saw their tracks so hopefully this will work. If not, I guess the next step will be to call the parents. They are young kids around 10 to 12 years old, none of them wear helmets, and they drive recklessly. I can just see them getting hurt while on our property and suing us. It scares me and I couldn’t sleep last night because of it. I don’t really want to have to call the parents. I know they are young and just wanting to have fun but I have to protect myself also. Hopefully, the signs will work or as Rudy said, “they better work!”
