I haven’t done much all weekend except work and then just some odd and ends around here. It’s been a rather boring weekend. Friday evening Rudy and I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a new DVD/VHS player. We gave Kalli our old one and I haven’t been able to watch movies at home since Christmas. So we spent Saturday getting it hooked up and also fixing our antenna to pick up the local news. The antenna has been out since lightening struck our house last summer! Sunday we went to church and finally in the afternoon saw the sunshine for a change! It did warm up to the 60’s and that was nice. I opened my doors for a little bit to let in some fresh clean air. Today is just the norm…finishing up work and then I have a meeting at church tonight. Okay, you can wake up now that my post is finished, lol :teehee2: Have a blessed day :party0001:

Wednesday and Thursday were very light with work. That was good because Thursday morning I woke up and couldn’t move my neck very well. Guess I slept on it wrong. It was feeling better by the afternoon and after taking ibuprofen and rubing it down with Mineral Ice. Last night it started sleeting…wasn’t suppose to start until morning. As promised here are the things we bought on Monday for Kalli’s room. In the first pic we bought the stars and the mirror above her nightstand. There is another mirror on the other side of the bed just like this one.

Kalli and I did go shopping Monday but had to cut it short because work called. I need to learn to check the caller ID on my cellphone before answering. I was suppose to be off Monday but she had some reports she needed to be picked up by 5 PM and have back to her by 8 AM Tuesday morning. They called at 3:30 so we had to leave Tyler by 4 so I could get there on time. It really wasn’t that big of a deal since we had already done most our shopping. We did get some really cute things to hang in Kalli’s room. Pics will be in Friday’s post. So Monday when we got back I picked up work and brought Kalli home and then met my sorority sisters at Giovannis Italian Restaurant then home again to pull an all nighter (well to 2 AM but that is pretty much an all nighter to this old crow) so I would have the work finished and could deliver by 8 AM. Of course, that wasn’t all of my work for the day so after I delivered it was right back home to finsih up the rest of it. I finished everything by 1 PM but then I was too tired to do anything and just wanted to sit. We ended up getting takeout…I just couldn’t muster up any energy to cook or even throw something together. Everyone wanted pizza so I have to be really good the rest of the week.

Friday night Rudy and I saw The Bucket List and then Sunday afternoon Kalli and I saw 27 Dresses. Both get two thumbs up :popcornsmile: We had a really nice time visiting with my brother and his wife and son. Kendale has 3 other kids that live with their mother and he and Sherry just have one son together named Tyler. I wish they would move closer to us so we could see them more often but he is closer to his kids where he is living right now. You know how I have been wishing for snow…we got sleet and a little snow Friday morning and then again Friday afternoon. No accumlation as it melted as soon as it hit the ground but it was a nice sound for a change and some of the flakes were big enough to see so that was exciting.
