I started this post yesterday and then forgot about it last night and never finished it. We have another stray animal coming around…this time a small dog maybe even a puppy. I can’t tell because he will not let us get near him and runs away every time I try to get a pic of him. He sleeps underneath the shed and comes up to the house at night to eat Chloe’s food. He is black with just a little brown, and has mange with no hair on his back side down towards his bottom and part of his tail is hairless. His face is cute though, lol! What to do? If we could catch him we would take him to the vet but like I said he won’t let us get anywhere near him. Chloe doesn’t have anything to do with him so I’m hoping she is safe from getting mange herself. Can humans get it? I guess I need to read up on it.

I am feeling downright bloggy this week! I went shopping for a new hummingbird feeder and found this one that I really like at Wild Birds Unlimited. The feeders I have are dripping onto the deck which is drawing big black ants and bees. They were so bad I actually had to take my feeders down for now. This one is supposed to be leak and drip proof and it has a lifetime guarantee!

Two posts in a row! I didn’t make it to the church yesterday to help with the garage sale stuff, but I did finish and delivered my work and before starting on the next day’s work I scrubbed my bathroom good and then tackled the refrigerator. I took out all of the shelves of the fridge and soaped them up good and rinsed before replacing. Then I paid Rudy’s bills and got his checkbook up-to-date. Later in the day I fixed a pot of chicken and shrimp gumbo. I love a productive day!

We finally got a little bit of rain yesterday. About an inch. Not sure when our next chance of rain is, but as far as I know we are still under a burn ban. I am working this morning and after I finish will deliver and pick up of there is any, and then I have a few errands to run. Not much else planned this weekend besides a birthday party for my niece on Saturday who is turning 5! I also plan on going to church Sunday since my attendance has been pretty much non-existent this summer. I am halfway through “Sundays at Tiffany’s” by James Patterson that I purchased Tuesday. It is so good I can’t put it down. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
