I had a service appointment with DISH yesterday from 8 to 12. I waited til 1 and then called to reschedule so I could go pick Bella up. She has already won the hearts of all family members including Rudy and Matt, with the exception of Peaches, who is having nothing at all to do with her. For some unknown reason our phones went out Tuesday around 4 PM, and came back on around 7 PM, but my internet would not work. I just got it back on a little while ago. Something about a transformer going out and all in our area was without internet. We got some ice from the ice storm but nothing like the Dallas area. No delays here or anything. The sun is finally coming out but it is very cold. The next few days we have warmer temps and lots of sunshine in the forecast!

Gosh, I have been so sick! It started out with headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, then stuffy/runny nose, and more headaches, congestion and cough. Yesterday afternoon I started to actually feel a little normal, but now Kalli has it. She is running fever with hers and has a sore throat, I didn’t. When I went to church yesterday I found out that it is flu going around with the same symptoms, and some have had to be hospitalized because of dehydration. Luckily I was not and I’m keeping Kalli well-hydrated.

I have had the worst headaches the last few days. To the point of making me nauseated! I’m still not feeling great this morning so gonna do my 100 things and go lay down.

I spoke with Bella’s owner yesterday and he said she is doing great so far on weaning from her mother. I am trying not to get my hopes up about bringing her home Sunday, in case something changes between now and then. But then again, it’s hard not too! She will only be 8 weeks old and I read on the internet that they normally stay with their mommy for 12 weeks. He did say I could bring her back to be with mom a while longer if she didn’t eat well for me, so that is good to know. I am going today to see if I can find her a nice cozy bed. Not sure why cause I know she will probably end up sleeping in my bed for now ;o) Peaches also sleeps with me and Rudy so it will be interesting to see how she reacts to the new baby.
