Bella went for her third set of shots on Wednesday. This time she was a little sore and they did make her sleepy. It didn’t last long, by nighttime she was her playful and energetic little self. She is eating so much better now and hardly ever coughs. The vet did say that the cough could last for months sometimes, but as long as she is getting better and not worse that she would be fine, and like I said, she hardly ever coughs. Here she is at 3 months weighing 1 lb 4 oz.

I finally made it to the store yesterday to do my grocery shopping. I had planned on going last Friday and kept putting it off until all we had to eat was an egg sandwich and mac and cheese. Definitely time to restock! I am so glad to have that behind me…I hate going! Bella is 13 weeks today and has an appointment for another round of shots this morning. Last time the vet said they would probably make her sleepy but how wrong she was…they made her hyper! She was bouncing off the walls! I don’t care as long as they don’t make her sick. After the vet I will drop off and pick up more work.

Sorry for not posting on Friday; I just could not come up with anything interesting to write about. Today’s post won’t be that great either as we have had a very laid back weekend. Most of our time was spent outside in the afternoons when the temps warmed up. I did manage to get a couple of Bible study lessons done on Saturday and started another one Sunday. I also worked on Rudy’s business income tax stuff. I had planned on going to the grocery store this weekend but never did, so I need to do that today. I will probably just wait until this afternoon to do my shopping when I pick up work. Well, this is very short and sweet! Have a great day!

It has rained the last two days but sunshine and a high of 80 is in the forecast for today. I am looking forward to everything drying out so I don’t have to wipe Bella’s paws when she comes inside from her potty breaks. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Kalli is out of school today for President’s Day and we are headed to Tyler for a day of shopping. We had thought about going to the Woodlands but will save that for another day since I have sorority tonight and probably wouldn’t make it home in time to go. We have had a relaxing weekend watching movies, playing Yahtzee, taking walks with Bella and outside playtime. Bella continues to be a great joy and is right in the middle of everything we do, even playing Yahtzee! Rudy and I did go out to dinner on Valentine’s Day and then to church on Sunday. Kalli gave Bella a bath yesterday. She smells so good and actually did a lot better about taking her bath with Kalli giving it to her?! Kalli wasn’t even wet when it was over. When I give her a bath I am soaked afterwards!
