Update

If you didn’t see yesterday’s post, please read it first or you will be confused with todays’.
At Kalli’s doctor appointment yesterday they did an EKG (electrocardiogram) and everything looked normal with her heart. This morning they are doing an EEG (electroencephalogram) to check for a brain disorder. They are doing these tests because one of the symptoms of heart trouble and brain disorders is fainting. Her doctor does not think it is anything serious, and doesn’t feel there is anything wrong with her heart or brain, but he/I want to be sure. When she goes in for the results of the EEG they will then do blood work to check her iron levels and blood sugars. I am really pleased with this doctor and the fact that he is covering every aspect. Thank you for the prayers and please continue!

Cleaning The Cobwebs

Published by Tracey under Daily News, Family

We got a good downpour yesterday morning but then it stopped not too long after that! I was ready for a nice rainy day but we still have high chances of rain for the rest of the week. I didn’t have any work to pick up so I tackled the basement. I didn’t realize it had been 4 months since I last cleaned it and the cobwebs and dirt had built up again. It took a good part of my day but I did manage to get it all cleaned up, just wished it would last. I don’t how it can get so dirty when we hardly ever go down there.

Oh wow, I didn’t realize it had been a week since I last posted. For some reason I thought I had posted on Wednesday! I was busy last week with extra work from the clinic and getting caught up on more of Rudy’s bookwork. He is so busy right now contracting on 5 houses which all are of good size. Money wise it’s good, but lots of paper work and bills for me to deal with. So anyway, that’s my excuse for going MIA on you! Friday, Rudy and I drove to Athens to drop off his bow at Wulf Outdoors to have a new string put on, then we headed to Tyler and did a little shopping then to dinner at Mercardo’s Mexican. The food was delicious but the service was so slow and by the time we got our food I had filled up on chips and salsa so I had lots of leftovers to bring home. Saturday, Rudy worked on the house and is now ready for concrete. I cleaned up the deck and carport and then mowed the yard. In the evening we went to Rudy’s sister’s for dinner. Sunday was spent doing laundry and then relaxing most of the day.

Monday’s Chatter

We got a little rain last night and more in the forecast for today and Tuesday!
Our “just us girls” Friday, was fun! The movie “My Sister’s Keeper” was so good but you will need to watch it with a box of kleenex, and of course The Olive Garden was delicious, as was the conversation. We had a lazy Saturday, so lazy, I never even got out of my p.j.’s.

Just Us Girls

We got some rain this morning! Sure was a nice way to wake up. I don’t think we got enough for them to lift the burn ban though but we will take what we can. I left here yesterday morning at 7 to take Bella to Athens to be spayed. I am really thinking of making them her vet. She loves to go there, probably because they make such a fuss over her. When we walk in the door you can hear all through the office, “Bella is here” and she gets so excited! Everyone has to come out and see her. She eats up the attention! The place I was taking her to, she hates and starts shaking when we enter the door. Plus, I’m a little put out with them cause they never gave her a kennel cough vaccine even knowing she had kennel cough when I first brought her home. I didn’t know there was a vaccine for it until I took her to a new groomer where you had to show your pet is up-to-date on vaccines and they pointed out that she had not had the kennel cough vaccine. I took her to our vet here and they gave it to her but still, they should have told me this when we were there so many times trying to clear up the kennel cough!
